January Mission Update

Dear Mission Family,

Christ is Born! Glorify Him!

We hope you and your loved ones had a joyful and blessed season celebrating the Nativity of our Lord and Theophany. As we enter the New Year, we give thanks for every family, every visitor, and every prayer that is helping this mission grow—quietly, steadily, and with hope.

January Service Update

We wanted to share an important scheduling update for January.

The Episcopal church where we currently gather has been booked for the primary weekend we had hoped to use for our January Divine Liturgy. Because of that, we are now looking ahead to our next Divine Liturgy in February.

We are in close communication with Rev. Fr. Florin Iftode to confirm his availability and travel schedule. As soon as we finalize the exact date, we will announce it on our website and through our newsletter.

• Mission announcements shared directly with families who have requested updates

Even though we will miss gathering for the Eucharist this month, we remain united in prayer and in purpose.

Staying Connected In January

While we are not able to gather for Liturgy this month, we encourage everyone to keep January as a peaceful, prayerful season:

• Maintain your personal prayer rule as best you can (even if simplified).

• Consider adding a short daily prayer for the mission, for unity, and for guidance.

• If you attend services in Boise, continue doing so and please remember our mission as part of the wider Orthodox family here in the Treasure Valley.

• Begin turning your heart toward the approaching Lenten journey that leads us to Holy Pascha.

May the remainder of January be filled with stability, humility, and spiritual strength.

Looking Ahead

We will share the February Divine Liturgy date as soon as it is confirmed. Please keep the mission in your prayers as we coordinate schedules, build consistent gatherings, and continue laying the groundwork for what we hope will one day become a permanent parish home.
